Solapur city has significantly improved its cleanliness ranking in Swachh Bharat
Abhiyan 2023 and has moved up from 88th position to 63rd position at the national level
and 17th position at the state level to 14th position. Solapur city has achieved 3 star
garbage free rating and maintained ODF ++ status for the third consecutive time. 35 C. N. G.
vehicles and 06 C. N. G. refuse compactors have been purchased for garbage collection and transportation,
and a QR code based door-to-door garbage collection monitoring system has been implemented based on ITC.
